The Stars are Bright
I am back in the good state of Texas tonight after a short trip to New York and So Cal. I will be here for a few days and then back to California. It was raining pretty hard in California, which as we all know is needed. I love the rain, but a clear beautiful 70 degree day in California is hard to beat. I hope this weekend is those days we are so fond of comes back!
Busy and big day tomorrow. Some really high level meetings to bring together a good partnership for some international work. Should go well.
Catch you soon.
Hopping the World
I have been told that I am not updating enough. Of course it has been well over a month since my last update. Time is going so fast and I have been traveling a bunch these days. This month I believe I will be on the road over 23 days.
I have spent most of the time in Houston, a bit of time in Dallas / Fort Worth, and will also do a week or so in Libya/ London/ Spain for some international work I am doing. Life moves quickly when you are traveling, but it is also gets pretty old.
Big things happening as always~!
Another Birthday
Today was my birthday and it was a pretty fun one. My brother and his wife and their new baby are here from Idaho. Also my sister from San Diego drove up. We hung out most of the day and played some cornhole! We went to Lamppost Pizza in Corona for some pizza and trivia!
My wife made a wonderful pumpkin cheesecake! It was delicious. Tomorrow or should I say in 4 minutes is Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for another year of growth, not as thankful for the physical growth, but the growth towards one another.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Best Costume

Emma took top prize for the best costume in our neighborhood this Halloween. They really liked her face makeup.
Galveston AAPA
This year’s AAPA conference was in Galveston. Galveston did an excellent job of hosting the conference and I have a great time marketing with the Ports around the America’s. Lots of people from the USA, Canada, as well as places like Columbia were in attendance.
It is nice to be home and I have a lot to do to get ready for my parents tomorrow! We are all excited and can’t wait for them to get here! I need to head to Home Depot to get on with the honey-do list!
End of Week and Travel to Texas
This week was pretty busy. I was able to accomplish a lot of things at work which of course is food. Unfortunately I have a short weekend and leave for a business Development trip on Sunday. I love working in Los Angeles. The atmosphere is definitely different than a small privately owned company where I was the vice president, but it is a good place.
I really like the work and the team we have in place is an excellent team.
On a side note my wife is 13 weeks pregnant. Time is flying by. I was informed today that they baby is already the size of a peach and all organs are fully functioning. Crazy that this is only 11 weeks past conception and it if a real life human being. Life is a miracle.
Tomorrow should be a relaxed day. I will pack my bags for Galveston, and finish a few things around the house. Other than that, I will watch some college football Go Boise State and USC!!
nothing
I don’t have anything to say. It has been a tiring week. I can’t wait for the weekend. Although it is a short weekend as I fly out Sunday at noon.
I am really excited about next week. It should be an awesome week of business in Galveston and Houston. Something in you always misses Texas.
Life is Up and Down
Is life more up or more down? When you look back at your life does it seem that life is more down these days, when compared to how it was back 10 or 20 years ago?
I am not sure what it is, I tend to blame it on technology but I have no idea. Life does seem to go much faster and be much more of a downer than what I remember.
Entertaining Guests from Libya
Today my wife and I will be meeting up with some Libyan guests. It will be a good time of getting to know each other as well as hearing about the daily life in Libya. Many of you know that I have family living in Libya, and so it will be great to hear more about the country.
The guests we will be meeting come from a very important family. In fact his Uncle works directly for the President Muammar al-Gaddafi, and has also been in the past, the representative to the U.N., as well as many other important jobs.
This will be a time to hear about their life. Libya is going through many changes that I am sure are exciting to the Libyans. This will very interesting and the friendship will be good.
