Networking in Phnom Penh and Planning for the 1 Year Mark Since Johnny

Busy days for sure. I am a great at networking as well bringing people together is what I am told.

Just got done with a meeting with the Head of the International school. Definitely a great program is being run at Newbridge International School in Phnom Penh.

Now I am off to a meeting with the SW Friend’s Yearly Meeting missionaries. They have quite a tragic story that I can definitely relate to with the death of my son last April.

HEY -
Speaking of that, we are looking for a few days of et-a-way time around April 19th the day my son was taken of the ventilator. Anyone have any ideas or options? Do you possibly know of someone that has a house in Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear that isn’t being used? April 20th, the day after Johnny’s passing is our 17th anniversary. We were thinking of going somewhere with the kids and just enjoying each other’s company.

I have to run now. Let me know, email or comments below.

Busyness – I CAN Do

Another crazy 2 weeks kicked off today.

1. Officiating a Wedding
2. Speaking at 2 Churches
3. College Paper Due
4. Work

On top of all this today I was asked to go to Libya on the 10th. Without a Libyan Visa (another story) it was almost impossible, although I was up for the challenge. The racing began minutes after the phone call asking me to head to Libya on a marketing trip to the leadership of Libya.

Sadly yet fortunately the trip was canceled. So that simplifies quite a bit my schedule for the next few weeks. Still the pressure is on. Weddings, reports, and sermons require a lot of work on top of all my regular work.

Busyness can be good as long as it is productive and doesn’t overwhelm. That I can do!
